Erica Gaines, CEO and Founder
Erica is a certified yoga instructor with a passion for helping the LEO community with chronic pain and positive mental health. Erica is currently serving North American police agencies and leading the TacMobility team. She is also obsessed with self-improvement, her teen, her tween and husband who works as a K9 narcotics investigator.

Mel Koenen, LE Counselor
Mel is a licensed therapist that specializes in first responders and is the wife of a trooper. She is passionate about bringing good, practical wellness solutions to first responders. In her spare time, Mel volunteers with Backing the Blue Line as their Director of Wellness. She enjoys spending time with friends/family and her newest hobby is bird watching.
Mel is privileged to serve TacMobility clients located in the Midwest.

Lauren Kearns, Training Coordinator
Lauren has been serving The State of Rhode Island as a police officer for nine years and counting. Lauren is currently a patrol sergeant on the midnight shift. Lauren thrives on bad coffee and the hustle of the patrol lifestyle. When she’s not working, Lauren can usually be found in the gym, walking the beach with her dogs, or training for a half marathon.
Lauren is privileged to serve clients located in the Northeast.

Gerrit Verhagan
Gerrit has been a law enforcement officer since 2019 and a tactical team operator since 2022. When off duty Gerrit can be found at Neutral Ground Martial Arts, where he holds the rank of purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and green belt in Judo. Martial Arts training allows Gerrit to train The Mind and The Machine.
Gerrit has always had a passion for mobility and believes “Movement is Medicine”.

MJ Oubre, Data Analyst
MJ is a river ecologist who specializes in fisheries management and data analytics. They earned a Bachelor’s in Geography at Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Biological Sciences at Minnesota State University. While studying in Minnesota, MJ utilized public datasets to model the invasion risk of non-native fishes. Having completed many data-intensive research projects and an extensive background in statistics, they bring science and data to the forefront of first responder wellness. In their free time, MJ enjoys fossil hunting, hiking, and road trips with their wife.

Jack Hibberd, Sales/Operations Manager
USCG Veteran, 10 Years in Federal Law Enforcement and EMS. Passion for training and coaching the LEO, first responder and veteran communities strategies to creating a healthy lifestyle. Mind, body, soul. Through his own journey in self-improvement, Jack found a unique connection with TacMobility and is excited to be a part of the TacMobility mission.
